Deal ID

Deal details define how a deal from the My Deals or Platform Deals lists can be used in a campaign.

Deal ID

Unique ID provided by the exchange and/or publisher for the deal.

My Deals: You must receive the deal ID from the exchange or publisher before you can enter a new deal.

Exchange

Exchange the deal was negotiated with. The deal is valid for impressions from this exchange only.

My Deals: You must choose an exchange to enter a new deal.

Deal Name

A descriptive name given to the deal.

When you're creating a deal, be sure to use a name that you'll be able to find later. You can search for deal names in the My Deals list.

Description

Optional. A summary of the deal.

Price

The fixed or floor price, depending on the chosen Price Type. The price is agreed on with the exchange/publisher in advance.

My Deals: You must choose a price and price type to enter a new deal.

Price Type

Fixed Price: A fixed price sets one CPM for all impressions. When you use the deal in a campaign, set the default bid to this deal price.

Private Auction: A private auction deal has a floor price and awards impressions to the highest bidder. When you use the deal in a campaign, set the default bid at or above this deal price.

Start Date

Optional. Date when the deal becomes available.

You can start using the deal at midnight, and the deal is valid for the whole day on the start date.

End Date

Optional. Date when the deal expires.

The end date is the last day that the deal is valid. Impressions can use the deal until 11:59:59 PM on the end date.

Publisher

Publisher the deal has been negotiated with. The deal is valid for impressions from this publisher only.

My Deals: You must choose a publisher to enter a new deal.

Device Type

Optional. Set if the deal must be used on desktops, phones, or tablets only (or a particular combination of those, like desktops and tablets).

If no device types are chosen, the deal can be used for any device type.

  • Desktop: The deal can be used for impressions on laptop or desktop computers.
  • Phone: The deal can be used for impressions on mobile phones.
  • Tablet: The deal can be used for impressions on tablets.

Inventory Type

Optional. Set if the deal must be used on desktop, mobile web, or mobile app inventory only (or a particular combination of those, like desktop web and mobile web inventory)?

If no inventory types are chosen, the deal can be used for any inventory type.

  • Desktop Web: The deal can be used for impressions on web browsers on laptop or desktop computers.
  • Mobile Web: The deal can be used for impressions on web browsers on mobile devices.
  • Mobile App: The deal can be used for impressions shown in mobile applications.

Format

Optional. Set if the deal applies to display ads or video ads only.

If no formats are chosen, the deal can be used for any format.

Ad Sizes

Optional. Set if the deal is only valid for certain creative sizes.

If no sizes are set, all creative sizes are considered valid for the deal.

My Deals: Select the ad sizes from the dropdown list. You can select as many sizes as you need.

Advertiser Domains

Optional. Set if the deal must only be used for certain advertiser domains.

If no domains are chosen, the deal can be used for any domain.

Countries

Optional. Lists the countries where the deal is valid.

If no countries are chosen, the deal can be used in any country.

Categories

Optional. Set if the deal applies only to certain categories in the IAB taxonomy .

If Categories are selected , the deal can be used for impressions in the selected categories as well as uncategorized impressions.

If no Categories are selected , the deal can be used for impressions in any category.

Notes

Optional. Notes describe exceptions or additional information you need to know about the deal. The Notes field can also include publisher contact information or internal notes regarding client use, the last time the deal was verified, etc.
